I learned so much both times, about the cornering techniques that are critical for both racing and street riding. Head Coach Can cares deeply for the students to learn and will correct any mistakes when observing students, and even rode on the track to demonstrate & lead, boosting student performance that's not possible in other 3 training programs I attended in the Bay Area. I am planning to take Superbike's programs to improve my skills of racing and of street safety. Highly recommended to all learning riders! I increased my riding skills tremendously and, also very importantly, I took care of that fear factor and developed more confidence in my riding. I sharpened my instinct on safely riding a motorcycle and having fun. Highly recommended!!! Will be taking more courses from Superbike-Coach! Sergei Golitsyn2025-02-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was there. That is the best coach ever. Do you think they have only a good coach? Nope, the whole team is awesome. I'll definitely buy their courses again!!!! It worth every single cent!! Review from Cornering School, Feb 2025 As I mentioned in my previous review below, I attended their Wheelie Course in July of 2023 to do something fun while scoping out the program to see if I'd like to do more of their classes. I found the program to be great and the coaching to be excellent so I came back in Feb of 2025 to take their three-day Cornering School. One of the great things that distinguishes this program from other motorcycle schools is the quality of the coaching staff. After a year and a half from my last time with them I was impressed to see that the same coaching staff was still there and still devoting individual attention to each rider. That the program can retain its staff and continue delivering at the highest levels is a testament to the caliber of the organization. In the Cornering School, Coach Can and his assistant coaches pick up where the MSF course we all took left off, building on some of the concepts, rejecting others as too simplified, and generally helping you get your riding to the next level. The class is suited to every class of rider from beginners to well experienced ones, and in fact is particularly good for beginners to help them build good habits while avoiding bad ones. Once again I found that the coaching staff delivers highly personalized instruction, getting to know each rider by name and tailoring their instruction to meet students where they are. After spending several full days with this program I can confidently say that I will continue booking classes with them. If you're even considering it, do yourself a favor and take the leap, you won't regret it. Review from Wheelie Course, July 16 2023: I went to their wheelie course to do something novel while checking out the program to see if I'd like to come back for some of their other courses. The wheelie course itself was great, and I did by the end of the day pull off the starting point what may someday become a decent wheelie (they are very clear about what your expectations should be for day-one), and I think everyone else managed to get the front wheel up too. The instruction was also great - patient feedback in easy-to-understand language, from qualified and interesting instructors who paid close attention to each student. Coach Can and his team run a great operation centered around learning. Some of their descriptions and feedback can be colorful and they don't pull punches, but it is always in the interest of keeping things fun and educational. Most importantly, you can tell the entire coaching staff up to the boss really cares about what they are doing, and about the progress of each individual. To me that's the foundation of a great program. Jimmy duong2025-02-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 2/23/25 Update Day 2 completed and what a work out! Coach and his team were very knowledgeable and patient. We rode the track the “other way” around. It was a great exercise as I had to apply what I learned on day 1 (best line). Uber Steering takes your bike from a full left lean angle to a full right lean. Talking about a great survival skill if braking isn’t an option. I already signed up for day 3 and looking forward to it. Invest in yourself! 12/8/24 Update Day 3 completed was packed with even more amazing content. I walked away with a better understanding of trail breaking and controlling the ideal line with brake vs throttle control. coached saved the best for last as always with “Uber Braking”. Imagine going a blind corner at a full lean angle and a “white Prius” is dead stop mid corner. You don’t have room to steer anywhere however, with this new survival skill, I can come full lean to a complete stop within 1 bike length! 12/1/2024 Update Completed day 2 of cornering course and added 1 more surviving tool into my belt “Uber Steering”. Taking the bike from a full left lean transition to full right. If braking won’t do, then tread the needle to stay alive! Looking forward to day 3. 11/3/24 Update Just returned from Thunderhill Raceway that was organized by Superbike Coach. Coach Can went over critical material in between our 20 minutes track session. His team were on the track to monitor safety and showed us the race line like a personal one on one. You can't complaint about the complimentary professional pictures that makes you look like Marc Marquez. If you are looking to get into track or want to safely push your limit, then I recommend joining Superbike Coach track day. I recently got back into motorcycle after a long 20 year break. YouTube and book don’t even come close to what you learn at Superbike Coach. When he said “you better book the next course now” he was not kidding. He is book solid and Lee his class to a minimal student count to ensure you get some one on one time. You will either love him or hate him (in a good way) but I’m the end, he will keep you alive and teach you the “professional” way to ride safe with crazy speed. You think you know the line to select, he will show you a different and better/safer line to pick. I already signed up for part 2 and 3 of the cornering school in addition to other course being offered by Coach Can. Update repeat course: I repeated day 1 and 2 already and it’s amazing how much more improvement I made. I am much faster now and able to understand a lot more going around again. If you are serious about being safe on the motorcycle, then try at least 1 course and see how much you will get out of it. It’s eye opening. Another 5 stars in my book. Ride safe out there everyone. Update 1/14/2024 Repeated day 3 and again day 1 of cornering school with my Red Ducati. I am amazed at how much improvement I have made since I first started. I was in “C” group way before and now have graduated to “A” group. I feel so much more confident in turns and braking. Repeating is Key. I’m using most of my tire’s edge now and having so much fun on this little track. Don’t hesitate and make the drive/ride to see Coach Can. It’s a life saving experience! Update 6/23/24 Repeated day 3 again. It was well over 100 degrees and Coach was standing out there in the blazing sun to give us individual feedback. He also push himself to perform live demo run despite his recent injury. He is committed to ensure we become safe riders. If you are serious about improving your skill and getting personal feedback, then you must give Coach Can a try. You won’t find a better value from a pro rider willing to share his knowledge. I still remember the first day when I was in C group (white Ducati). I kid you not, I have now moved to “A” group (red Ducati) and able to keep up with some of them. My riding skill has improve by 200% and I still got a lot to learn. I’m using my body efficiently and reducing lean angle (safer) at right speed! Jim Riley2025-02-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Coach Can and his team are outstanding! I just completed day two of the three day his cornering classes and I’m very impressed with what and how they teach skills you can use every day on the road. I’m not a track rider and have no ambitions to race on the track, I took the course only to make me and my girlfriend better riders on the street. Coach Can and his boys teach you how to handle the bike better on those bitchin backroads we all love and how to avoid and maneuver in unexpected situations with all the crazies on the road these days. We look forward to Day 3 in 10days. Thanks Coach! Doug M2025-02-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Cornering Class Day 1 with Coach Can and his crew was a great learning environment and motorcycling day and I could not recommend it more to any level motorcycle rider. I myself learned a lot from it. I look forward to taking many more classes with them in the future! Matt Muller2025-02-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Flew in from Minnesota, did cornering 1 and 2. Price is so right given whole day experience and retired professional GP racer teaching you everything he knows. Can't be done in one day so multiple days highly recommended, and you can always repeat levels if desired. They have a few bikes you can rent if come in from out of town. I had the Kawasaki 650, performed great, price and protection for one day rental even better. Coach Can is tough and no bs, but will hug you at the end of the day and his staff, just as professional. Christopher Barberi2025-02-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently completed cornering school days 1 and 2. I couldn't be happier! I'm looking forward to day 3 and highly recommend SBC to anyone looking to improve their riding skills! Thank you Coach Can! Tatiana Golitsyna2025-02-24Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I'm absolutely thrilled! Day 1 was amazing — I faced my fears, got better control of my bike, and learned a lot. By Day 2, I felt confident and ready to try harder techniques. Big thanks to the coaches, and especially to head coach Can for all his support!Load more
