Happy 2015 :-)

First off… I’m hoping you guys had a great Christmas with your families- Happy new year btw :-)

It’s been one year ago when I announced Superbike-Coach’s new website. Hey… it happened again:
I personally love the design. It is fresh- modern- and represents Superbike-Coach pretty good. Just hoping that you like it, because that’s why we’re doing this. So let me tell you a little bit what’s under the hood of this baby:

  • Superbike-Coach ideal line definition 100% smart phone ready (responsive)
  • More quality on images
  • Improved booking system
  • Login area for booking status
  • Better schedule overviews with info system
  • Less linked-links for easier usage
  • Program pages reorganized for easier usage
  • Improved social media connectivity
  • Oh… and better looks :-)

Besides this big update on the website itself, we also come up with some interesting new stuff at the same time:

The Perfect Body Positioning Hype

It actually amuses me to see the huge amount of attention other schools, books, forums, and videos spending on the subject called ‘the perfect body positioning’ for street riders. Glancing over to what MotoGP riders like Marc Marquez performs on TV- must be good for the Redwood Rd in the SF East Bay. If it doesn’t look like Marquez… It’ll be damned as ‘crossed-up’ and some rookie rider who was proud showing his first hanging off pic’s will be scoffed by. Read more

Cornering School Day 1 & 2 are burning hot!

I am so happy with the way i developed our ‘Cornering School Day 1 & 2’, because they are burning hot! We still have ideas popping up even improving stuff, and now since we are doing 2 days of cornering school, and our students already asking for it- we are thinking about adding a 3rd day. I’ll come up with very cool stuff, but i need to settle my thoughts on this first.

This is the 1st review of a student who participated in CSD-2 in October 26th 2014:

Headcoach Can Akkaya:  Let’s recap our last Wheelie and Knee Down classes in Oct 11 & 12:

Luckily it was not that hot in Stockton as it use to be… but what was going on on our track… that was hot. Seeing my students all weekend to aim for a real goal and having me and my team working real hard to make most of them reaching these goals- that makes my classes always to an eye opening experience. I start this story out with a testimonial from Dean Lonskey:

Superbike-Coach Wheelie Course, Oct 2014 (178)           “I’ve been riding motorcycles for over 40 years (desert, motocross, street), 26 years recently on street, and I’ve always been a little nervous about doing wheelies but would still try. Taking the wheelie course helped with that and Superbike-Coach is a really good school to take. The instructors are very honest, upfront, and experienced (just one look at them in action was enough to convince me!). The 1on1 part of the class, with ear buds in your helmet listening to Headcoach Can giving instructions, is a MUST for EVERYONE! Why I Consider Rider Education In California A Joke – Part 2/3

As you might remember from reading part 1- I still consider the general motorcycle rider education nothing else as a joke. That hasn’t much changed since then, so I’d like to make riders aware of these things, and not to bend down too early for that shiny thing… it’s maybe not gold, even when it looks like it…

OK, do you agree with me that ‘reading’ a book about the Alps is different as actually ‘being’ in the Alps?!  Motorcycle riding is not a static 1- 2- 3- thing… this is loaded with emotions, variables and ‘feelings’.  It’s not just black and white- but lots of gray zones. A book can’t make you feeling these things, and it’s on the imagination of its reader how the content… has found a place on his/her mind. In other words… what if you read a book about how to ride a motorcycle- but your imagination gives you a other understanding about it?! The result

Cornering School Day Sept 7th rescheduled to Sep 28th

This is about the Cornering School Day (Sep 7th). Unfortunately we have to reschedule this event to this new date:  September 28th 2014

Students who already booked will be transferred to the Sep 28th list of course. Luckily there is plenty of time to flick things around to plan things. We’re expecting that also this Cornering School Day will be sold out, so sign up soon.
