I loved Can’s no nonsense teaching style, he was clear and articulate. His focus on the psychology and working through my mental blocks were incredibly helpful.
We were talking so the coach told us to “shut the **** up” , then I said loudly “yeah Ryan , shut the **** up “, and coach decided teach me a lesson “snitches do push ups ” lololol
Today, I practiced the counter-steering, very impressive technique! I am ashamed to admit that before yesterday I thought that I knew how to apply it but was far off from the truth. I also think that I know how to do trail breaking, let’s see how that goes next time :-)
I personally enjoyed the way the coach can schedule the track time with class instruction breaking it up. I was physically fatigued at the end of each track session. After having short classroom time allowed me to recover so I could go back out and give 100% without being fatigued.
My wide was a worried going into it–her last track experience wasn’t helpful and scared her quite a bit (being lapped by much faster riders), but her fears faded immediately and we both had a blast and learned a ton on our bikes!
